This 37-year-old practice has many positive aspects. The very qualified, caring, and dedicated staff, consisting of a receptionist/office manager, assistant, and 3 hygienists is a major strength of this practice. This dedicated team has a professional, yet friendly, approach and provides high quality dental care.

The practice has a 27-hour work week with holidays off and 3 weeks of vocation. There is room for growth since we refer all multi rooted endodontics, periodontal surgeries, orthodontics, all implants, and approximately half of extractions to specialists. This practice currently grosses $1,250,000 in four treatment rooms. Each room is fully computerized and has well-maintained A-dec equipment, x-ray units, cavitrons, digital radiographs, and the office has a digital panorex. The office currently uses an automated telephone/text patient recall system.

The practice has a large recall file with may long-term patients keeping the hygiene schedule booked solid. The practice has a consistent flow of new patients and referrals from specialists. Our advertising has been limited to the yellow pages and word of mouth recommendations from our loyal patients. There is a large opportunity for growth by increasing advertisements and online presence.

The practice is a “fee for service’ practice and does not participate as “Preferred Provider” with any insurance companies, HMO’s, or capitation plans (including Illinois Public Aid). It does accept pre-authorized insurance benefits assigned to the office from regular indemnity insurance plans; with the patient being responsible for any deductible and any balance of the billed fee not paid by the carrier.

We directly serve a small city of 30,000 with an additional 40,000 residents in a 20-mile radius of the city. There are four golf courses, a recreational lake, a state and county park, a local airport, and community college located here. There is also a major university a short drive away. My wife and I have been extremely happy raising our three children here and have loved being a part of this community for the last 37 years.
