Dan is responsible for company strategy at Provide, and leads finance and corporate development. After co-founding Provide in a one-bedroom San Francisco apartment (Dan slept on the couch), he built out the company’s lending strategy, securing billions in commitments from bank partners. Prior to Provide, Dan was a renewable energy growth equity investor with New World Capital in New York City. Dan majored in government at Connecticut College and is a proud Minnesotan, avid skier, mountain biker, and surfer.

James leads revenue and operations for Provide. After founding Provide from a San Francisco apartment, James helped architect the company’s complex lending infrastructure and built a team that has grown annual loan originations from zero to more than $1.1 billion. James is a musician and a member of the Minnesota State Bar Association. He graduated magna cum laude from the University of Minnesota Law School and played baseball at Hamline University.

As Chief Business Officer, Andrew oversees Provide’s day-to-day operations. He joined the company in San Francisco in 2015 as its third employee and has worn numerous hats during his tenure, working alongside Provide’s founders to build the company’s growth, capital markets, product, and business operations infrastructure from the ground up.
Before joining Provide, Andrew spent seven years as a high school and college educator, teaching everything from physics to organizational communication to baseball. He graduated summa cum laude from Hamline University with degrees in mathematics and physics and earned an M.S. in organizational management from Misericordia University. Before entering the real world, Andrew enjoyed a brief and unspectacular career as a professional baseball player. In 2019, Andrew relocated to Columbus, Ohio, where he currently lives with his wife and daughter. -

As Provide’s Chief Credit & Operational Risk Officer, Sean oversees credit, loan operations, construction project management, and portfolio monitoring. Before joining Provide in May 2017, Sean worked in underwriting for Bank of America Practice Solutions, most recently as a VP in Credit Products, focused on financing emerging Management Service Organizations in the healthcare industry. Prior to working with MSOs, Sean provided financing to both start-ups and established practices, including acquisitions, additional locations, and more traditional small business financing. Sean is a graduate of Miami University, where he majored in finance, and of The Ohio State University, where he earned a Master of Business Administration.

Chad joined Provide in March 2019 as the company’s Regional Director of Practice Finance for the Northeast. In November 2020, he was elevated to National Sales Director, and then subsequently to Head of Sales in 2021 and to Chief Revenue Officer in 2022, a role in which he drives loan volume and revenue growth across multiple channels, overseeing Provide's nationwide teams of regional directors and healthcare banking specialists, and managing the company’s partnerships with other top organizations in healthcare. Prior to joining Provide, Chad spent nearly a decade at Bank of America Practice Solutions, where he played an integral role in the division’s growth to $2 billion in annual loan originations. Consistently recognized as a leader and top producer in practice finance, Chad is known for his consultative approach with doctors, educating and serving them beyond the financing process. Chad is a graduate of Boston University, where he earned B.S. degrees in political science and philosophy. He lives in New York with his wife and two daughters.

Pat came to Provide in September 2017 and brings more than a decade of experience in healthcare lending to his role as Head of Practice Finance Operations. Before joining Provide as a Senior Credit Officer, he worked in senior credit roles at both Bank of America Practice Solutions and Huntington National Bank. In March 2019, Pat was elevated to Inside Sales Manager, and then subsequently in 2020 to Director of Practice Finance Operations, in early 2022 to Senior Director of Practice Finance Operations, and in late 2022 to Head of Practice Finance Operations, a role in which he is responsible for supporting loan origination growth and operational efficiency for all Provide business lines while overseeing nationwide teams in inside sales, loan closing, closing operations, and insurance services. Pat is a graduate of Williams College, where he earned a B.S. in history and competed on the varsity football and baseball teams.

Jess joined Provide in June 2021, bringing with her over a decade of B2B and B2C marketing experience. Prior to joining, Jess built and led marketing functions for some of the largest start-ups in Central Ohio. As Head of Marketing & Culture, Jess oversees the development, evolution, and implementation of Provide’s brand strategy across all internal and external touchpoints. Jess lives in Columbus, Ohio, with her two children and two of the furriest huskies ever.

Jill joined Provide in August 2022 with more than a decade of experience in the financial services industry. As Head of Financial Products, she is responsible for driving the expansion of Provide’s suite of innovative product offerings tailored to the financial needs of aspiring and established practice owners.
Prior to joining Provide, Jill served as a partner at Ohio Innovation Fund, an early-stage venture capital firm focused on emerging technology companies in the Midwest. Her banking experience includes several years as a senior underwriter at J.P. Morgan Private Bank and as a risk management examiner with the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation. Jill graduated magna cum laude from Creighton University with a dual degree in economics and Spanish, and earned her master of business administration from The Ohio State University. She lives in Columbus, Ohio, with her husband and three children. -
Joseph Merrill

Joseph joined Provide in September 2015 and held positions ranging from Practice Finance Specialist to Closing Team Manager to Regional Director of Practice Finance for Northern California before becoming Director of Scale in 2021, prior to his elevation in 2022 to Senior Director of Scale. Joseph's growth infrastructure-focused scaling operations team consists of data analysts and business operations generalists who blend technical software and financial product development with business process design and implementation. The scaling team's collective focus is on identifying and launching high-impact, cross-functional initiatives that scale and optimize Provide's lending and financial services business lines. Joseph earned a B.S. in business and marketing education from the University of Minnesota and lives in San Francisco with his wife Kate.

Now Senior Director of Healthcare Banking, Kurt is responsible for the performance, strategy, and operations of Provide's healthcare banking channel, overseeing an industry-leading team of healthcare experts who offer customized banking solutions and personalized support tailored to the financial needs of practice owners. Prior to joining Provide, Kurt spent 14 years in various leadership roles at Fifth Third Bank, most recently as a Small Business Market Leader. Kurt earned a B.S. in business from Eastern Kentucky University and lives in Kentucky with his wife and son.

Amy joined Provide in July 2019 with over eight years of experience in financial planning and analysis, most recently at a meal-kit delivery company. As Senior Director of Strategic Planning & Analysis, she partners with both internal and external stakeholders in order to run the forecast and budget process, while also providing insight into financial results. After a two-year stint in New York, she is happy to be back in San Francisco with her family, including her husband -- who happens to be a dentist.
